Students and teachers launch The Global Studies Times web version to publish news stories and articles of interest to the community, and to provide local and international perspectives on the news.
The Global Studies Times is published by students at the Los Angeles School of Global Studies with support and guidance from their teachers. We cover local, state, national, and international news. We attempt to place current events in historical context and integrate science, numeracy, art, and culture into our reporting.
Many of us are youth who have migrated from other parts of the world and, as such, we bring both a local and international perspective to the news.
